Merry Christmas To You

26 Dec

And a happy new year! I will like to wish everyone around the world a very blessed and joyous Christmas. May the love of God our Father and His Son fill you with joy and peace in the Holy Spirit at this Christmas season.

Before we start, let us focus on what it means to truly give thanks to God for His mercy and salvation, His love and grace as we celebrate Christmas season. God gave his one and only Son to us and to the whole world, “even while we were yet sinners”, to clear away all our sin. Therefore, let us reach out in love to all those around us in response to God’s generous grace, and bless them in Jesus’ name.

I wish to share with my Christmas wish, for this is my first CHRIST-mas, after finally accepting Jesus Christ, praise the Lord!

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men”, this is my first Christmas wish, to regain peace throughout the whole world.

  • Pray that people of Bethlehem will still know the joy and peace that the Christ-child came to give to the whole world.
  • Pray that the land of Isreal and Palestine, and that the peoples there may live together in harmony and peace.
  • Pray that Mumbai, India can regain its grandeur to the world after the devastating attack that affected Taj Mahal Hotel and the other majestic buildings.
  • Pray that the countries, will stop the existing war and fighting, as this brings no harmony but sorrow, it brings no happiness and laughter but tears to the nation and to the people.
  • Pray for countries in our region and other parts of the world that there may be peace within their borders and their people may know hope and security. Lord, please pour out Your grace and mercy upon these nations and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ may be proclaimed so that the people of the earth may know that God loves them and there is salvation available through Jesus Christ.

My second wish is to pray that God may bring understanding, love, friendship amongst humans and family members to bring peace and happiness to the nation and to the family.

  • Pray that God may grant a happy solution to those family, which are in the state of divorcing or those who are facing obstacles or family problems.
  • Pray that God that You may bless the children, Your children to live happily (ever after) in a healthy family.
  • Pray that God that You may bless all families with loving care and peace among family members.

As the month of December comes to a close, let us pray that we can continue to look to God for the year ahead and for His guidance, and pray for the Lord God to bring peace, righteousness and justice to every one of us.

Of course, probably this comes out all from Third Formers, that we can get straight A’s for PMR, 8A’s!

May you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year! Amen.
